Tremendous Development in the Gaming Industry

The gaming industry has evolved to attract users from all age groups .The industry is no longer restricted to specific group of people and thus, gaming industry has changed drastically. What remained as heterodoxy a few decades ago has now become an essential part of the mainstream. Indian gaming industry has developed from 25 companies in early 2000s to more than 250 companies now, though mostly startups but young with potency to create yet another Candy Crush or Angry Birds
The year witnessed the launch of many gaming apps harnessing multitudes of downloads. From Asphalt 8, Minions Paradise, Real Racing 3, Ski Safari 2 to Stupid Zombies 3, a varied range of gaming apps was launched and received appreciation. But one aspect that yet remains to be considered about Indian gaming industry is that the Indian markets have seen a digital boom in the past few years and the country is warming up to paying online. The country is yet reluctant to pay for mobile games and so, a ‘Freemium model’ for gaming industry is the most apt at least for the upcoming year.
While the free-to-play-gaming-revolution is at its peak, developers need to consider how their games are played as well as viewed. Watching games is on a rise at YouTube and Twitch.Tv and this trend needs to be exploited by the developers. It is about providing a spectator experience that has begun to matter.
As Virtual Reality (VR) is taking over without stopping, virtual card games are also getting quite popular in India. Ultimate Teen Patti, a game of flash by Play Games 24x7, has become the highest grossing game in the Casino category on the Google Play Store (India) and the number 4 grossing Android app in India. Ultimate Teen Patti offers a slick gameplay and fuddy-duddy graphics which have been revamped to revive the traditional card game court in session. Solitaire and Indian Rummy are other games that are doing the rounds.

India is expected to host one of the largest mobile game markets in the forthcoming years. Though the ecosystem is yet to be made more conducive for Indian gamers, a huge opportunity nevertheless lies in the country. A spectacular gaming war is awaiting the Indian gaming market and the future is yet to arrive.

Red Flags Card Game

Red Flags was created by Darin Ross He partnered up with Skybound again and created a masterpiece!

The Red Flags Card Game is really simple, easy to learn and fun to play! Each round players create the best date they can with “Perks” and try and ruin your date with “Red Flags”.  Then we can argue why our date is the best!  Red Flags Card Game.
 Rules.
The Single: Person deciding which date they want to go on.
Perks: White Cards
Red Flags: Red Cards
Blank Cards: Player decides what its used for either a Red Flag or Perk.
After everyone has read the perk cards and starting again with the player to the “Single’s” left each player plays a Red Flag to the player to their left.
Then comes the debate where everyone is convincing the “Single” to go on their date!! (You are going to be debating/ arguing with everyone else)
After everyone has plead there case the “Single” then chooses whose date they will gone on. The winner gets to keep the Red Flag Card from the winning date (to keep track of points). Everyone puts the old cards in a discard pile and choses new cards. The player to the left of the single is now the new “Single”. It just keeps rotating until everyone has gone or you have a set winning number of dates.
If you are looking to add some really funny Red Flag cards to your Red Flags Card Game I would get the Dark Red Flags Expansion. Top 10 popular card games

10. Spades
Spades evolved in United States in the 1930s and can be played singles or teamed. At the beginning each team bids certain number of tricks and to win the team is bound to win at least that committed number of tricks. The ultimate objective of the game is to reach 500 points first.  Each player plays with 13 cards in his hands. A suit is also decided by the bidder which acts as a trump for the game. The game is played till a team finally accumulates 500 points.

9. Solitaire:
Solitaire is the most unique of all card games since you can play it alone too. It is a puzzle like game and several software variants have emerged now but the basic rules remain same. This game is won by arranging the cards in sequence with Black and Red cards alternated to each other. The four different suits don’t hold significance, what matters is the color. Several versions of this game are found in different demographics including UK and China.

 8. Spite and Malice:

In case of more than four players extra decks can also be added. Queen is ranked highest and Ace is lowest, kings are wild cards and can replace other cards. Initially every player is dealt with 26 cards known as goal pile. Person you first moves all the cards from goal pile to playing piles wins the game.

7. Hearts:
Hearts is another popular trick taking game just like spades and Bridge. The game is best played by four players with a regular deck of 52 cards. All 52 cards are first distributed amongst the four players. All heart cards carry one point and Queen of spade carries 13 points. The goal here is to earn least number of points. Every time you pick the last spoon you get one letter from S-P-O-O-N. The one who gets the whole word “SPOON” looses the game.

5. Gin Rummy:
Gin Rummy is from the Rummy family of card games but it is relatively faster. Initially all the players are dealt with 10 cards each. When your turn comes around you either pick a card off the unused card piles or from the last card played. Then the player discards one card maintaining the set of 10 cards. The useless cards in your hand are called deadwood and contribute to points in your hand, motive is to have zero deadwood points.

4. Bridge:
Bridge is one of the most complex games played using playing cards. This game is played by four players with two competing teams. Players facing each other are in the same team and the game involves several dealings. Two other popular variants of Bridge are Rubber and Duplicate Bridge. Clash Royale-An Android Game

Clash Royale, a follow up to the hugely popular Clash Of Clans, was launched in March for Android and iOS users by Supercell. If you are a novice, chances are you might be feeling a bit confused by your lack of wins and difficulty in understanding the game's strategy. Do not worry; we have some handy tips for beginners and as you keep playing you will master the game slowly and steadily.Clash Royale is sort of like a combination of a competitive RTS with tower defense. Each player has three towers: one king tower and two smaller towers on either side. You have a deck of cards stacked with different units and spells, all of which require elixir to activate. The more elixir, the more powerful the card. Elixir fills slowly throughout the match, and you deploy your units in an effort to outfox your opponent and destroy his or her towers.Clash Royale is two players head to head, battling it out. There’s an unpredictability that comes with a human opponent that can’t be beat. From there, it’s a classic rock/paper/scissors concept of a small-scale RTS. Some units are better against towers, some against enemy units, some better in concert and some worth twice their weight in elixir if deployed at the right time.
It’s a smart game, and it’s a tough game: there’s the real sense that the right strategy can topple any player, and there’s satisfaction even in being outsmarted by a talented opponent. It’s worth a play for anyone who likes tactics and strategy, and it’s fun to get such deep game play on the small screen.
Clash Royale (as of this writing) features a few dozen cards of which players select eight unique cards to build a deck. Initially, this seems a little too basic- particularly if you're a veteran of other card games. Once you let it settle in, it's actually pretty awesome, as with only eight cards to work with, it becomes immediately transparent which cards are and aren't working in your deck. Additionally, with a card pool measured in the dozens combined with cleverly tiered unlocking of available cards, you quickly learn what everything in the game does without the encyclopedic knowledge required to know every single card in a typical CCG.
The RTS and MOBA elements have also been greatly simplified. In both genres, success comes from not just by how intelligently you utilize your units, but how quickly and accurately you're able to control them. In the world of popular RTS games like StarCraft, top-tier players are issuing hundreds of commands a minute to their army. Similarly, the split-second decision making you see in top-tier MOBA play is incredible. Clash Royale simplifies and slows all of that down just enough that it's easy to play, while still invoking a feeling that your decisions matter just as much as the ones you might make in an RTS or MOBA.

Slap jack- Most Played Card Game

Slap Jack is likely the easiest of all card games to learn and play. It does not require any sequencing or matching skills. This game is so simple players don’t even need to know their numbers. Children enjoy games with simple rules and quick play.

A standard deck of playing cards.

A playing surface where players can all face each other.

Setting Up the Game

2 to 5 players sit in a circle facing each other. The oldest player is the dealer. The dealer shuffles the cards and deals them face down to each player until all cards have been dealt. It does not matter if players do not all receive the same number of cards. Each player places their cards in a neat face down stack without looking at them.

Playing the Game

The player to the left of the dealer goes first.

They take the top card from their stack and place it face up in the center of the playing area. The next player to the the left then places their top card face up on top of the previous players card. Play continues until a players lays down a Jack.

As soon as the Jack appears, all players slap their hand down on top of it.

The first player to slap the Jack wins the round and adds the pile of cards to the bottom of their stack.

Play begins again with the player to the left of the successful slapper.

If a player gets excited and slaps any card other than a Jack, they must give each player a card from their stack.

A player who runs out of cards is not automatically out of the game, instead they must carefully watch while the game continues. If they are the first one to slap when a Jack appears they take the pile and rejoin the game. If they are not the first to slap the Jack then they are out of the game.

Online Card Game-Hearts

Hearts is structured to be played with four players, it is not difficult to learn but there is strategic play abound. Like other fun trick-taking card games such as Spades and Bridge the rules of the game are not complicated. However, even though the rules are simple there is a righteous range of scientific sport in this “evasion type” card game.
Start playing Hearts with the card player with the 2 of clubs starting off the first trick. After they have done so the other Heart players will play a card from their hands. Hearts Card Game is played in a clockwise order. Subsequent players are to play a card that is the same suit as the lead card. This is known as following suit. If they do not have a card that is the same suit as the lead card then Heart players can play any card that they have. Among the cards they may choose to discard or “slough” is a penalty Heart or the Queen of Spades. The points accumulated by any penalties and the trick are given to the player of the highest card in the suit that was originally put into play. You do not want the points in hearts. An ideal hand would have 0 points. The player who takes the trick will become the leader of the next trick. A leading trick player is not able to start with a heart unless they only have hearts in their hand or until the hearts have been “broken”. This means a player must play a heart while another suit is being played. Each round of Hearts will end when players have completed their hands. When a player reaches 100 points, the game will end. Whichever player has the LEAST amount of points wins!
The card game, Hearts, has evolved over the years. It originated in Spain in the 1700’s, at that time Heart was called Reversis. Since then this scientific card game has come a long way. In modern day Hearts, unlike Reversis, each Heart is worth one point. Also, the Queen of Spades or “Calamity Jane” is worth 13 points. All in all there are 26 penalty points in each deal in the card game Hearts.
Players can enjoy Hearts on 247 Hearts with other players because of Artificial Intelligence. Each level of Hearts, Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert or made more challenging or less so by advances in AI. If you are a beginner, try your hand against the card players in our Easy Hearts game. There are hundreds of games available at 247Hearts.com to keep you coming back for more and more Hearts entertainment!
Hearts Strategy
Match the suit of the leading card, if possible!
Highest card of the suit played gets the trick.
Points are given when you get a trick with hearts cards or the queen of spades.
You do not want points in the hearts card game.
Play hands until the first player reaches 100 points.
The Hearts player with the lowest number of points wins!

Best Android Card Games

Card games are a fantastic form of entertainment. They work anywhere and everywhere, they’re small enough to fit into a bag for travel, and there are so many different kinds of card games. With our smartphones always on us, we can also play card games on mobile as a way to pass the time or goof around with friends. On this list, we’ll look at the best Android card games.

It’s important to note that there are two distinct kinds of card games. There are fantasy card games like Magic: The Gathering and the regular card games using the 52-card deck that we all know and love. On this list, we’ll include both of those types of games. Also don’t forget that many entries on this list hold more than one game, so there are vastly more than just 12 games total. Enjoy!

6 Takes
6 Takes is a game inspired by famed board-game creator Wolfgang Kramer. The idea of the game is that each player must avoid getting cards. When cards are dealt, players are assigned points based on how many bullheads are on each card. The player with the least number of bullheads at the end wins. It requires some strategy as well as luck like any good card game. It’s also great for kids and you can play against the CPU or there’s a local multiplayer mode where you can play with friends on the same device.

AI Factory Limited collection
AI Factory Limited is a developer on the Google Play Store who has released a ton of card and board games on Android. These include standalone versions of Gin Rummy, Euchre, Hearts, Spades, and Solitaire. There are also some non card games like Chess, Checkers, and Sudoku. Pretty much all of them are pretty good and most of them were updated in the last year so the developers are still working hard on these. If you click the button, we’ll take you to the AI Factory Limited page on Google Play so you can see their entire collection.

Ascension
Ascension is a fantasy card game where you must build a deck and battle against other players. There are 50 cards in total but those cards can do a vast number of things. It’s also worth mentioning that an expansion called Realms Unraveled was released very recently which adds to the total number of cards. There is online multiplayer support that is also cross platform so you can face foes on Android or iOS and you can play against AI opponents as well. It’s a good looking card game that has only gotten better in recent updates.

CardShark
CardShark is one of the best regular card game apps available. It includes a huge number of games including Solitaire, Gin Rummy, Rummy, various forms of Poker, and even some more obscure games like Crazy Eights, Egyptian Rat Screw, and more. There are literally dozens of games and they’re presented on a simple interface. There are even different card deck styles so you can customize it to your likes. It hasn’t been updated in a while and that’s a shame, but for now this is the best if you want a lot of games in a single app.

Solitaire MegaPack
Solitaire is one of those games that we all played when we were younger because it was on Windows computers. Solitaire MegaPack features a wealth of Solitaire variants including FreeCell, Spider, 3 Towers, Clock, and Pyramid variants along with others. It has an easy-to-use interface, includes stats like fewest winning moves and longest win streak, and even allows for Samsung’s Multi-Window feature. It’s $2.99 but there are no in app purchases and no advertisements.

World Series of Poker
It’s a rarity when a name brand product like the WSoP makes a top list. Generally they’re sub par (read: Wipeout 2) but World Series of Poker managers to be pretty good. It features multiple variants of poker, online leaderboards, the ability to play with your friends through an invite system, and more poker fun. The in app purchases aren’t very good and, with patience, you can play without them but other than that, it’s a solid online poker experience.
